Additional Cost & Services:

  1. Sub Accounts: Add additional sub accounts to your Master Account for only $4.95/mo each. Sub Accounts allow you to assign separate secure folders for different people, different purposes, different departments, etc. This adds another level to file security. Each sub account supports 1 backup device. So if you have 5 PCs each with a small amount of data you could select the 2GB plan for $9.95 and then add 4 more sub accounts at $4.95 each. Now your backing up your entire staff for $29.75 per month.
     
  2. Consulting: Backupshare doesn't believe one size fits all when it comes to professional backup strategies. We are available to consult with you or your IT staff to add additional backup and disaster recovery elements to your network for the highest degree of protection. Our consulting rate is $85/hr + travel. We can normally do most of your consulting remotely.
     
  3. Professional Installation Services: Our backup tutorials are easy to follow and most anyone can setup a PC backup job in minutes. We're even available to assist you with the setup. However, if you have special requirements for servers or more advanced backup needs we are available to perform installs remotely without visiting your site. Our rate for remote support is $58/hr.
     
  4. Enterprise Backup Systems: If your business includes SQL servers, Exchange Servers, Mail Servers, Web Servers, or other critical components you may require a more robust software solution. In some cases we even recommend hardware solutions for the highest backup performance on large networks. We can consult these solutions and provide custom pricing for your needs.
     
  5. Disaster Recovery Systems: Not sure what the difference between Disaster Recovery and Backup is? Disaster Recovery is essential a system combined with a comprehensive backup solution to have your PCs or servers back up and running within just a few hours compared to system that are down for several days after a disaster.
     
  6. Plan Overages: Each plan comes with a large amount of storage space for your backups. If you go over your allocated storage quota your account will be billed only 2 cents per megabyte over your initial quota. If you exceed your monthly transfer quota you will be billed at a rate of $2 per gigabyte over your allocated amount. As you can see overage cast are minor. If you continually go over your plan quota you should consider upgrading to a higher plan.

***FTP and Email backups require existing accounts. You must be able to SEND mail through an account that can be accessed via SMTP or POP (most services that can be used with Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express are compatible).
